Veterinary entomology is the study of insects or arthropods that affect animals. We are primarily interested in arthropod pests of poultry and other livestock.
Research in the Murillo lab seeks to better understand the basic biology and ecology of arthropod pests of livestock animals, characterize their host-parasite interactions, and develop effective and sustainable pest management tools.
